Chicago Bulls coach Dwyane Wade announced Wednesday that he will be the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, joining Nets president Andy Miller.
Wade, who was the coach of two championship teams in Miami and San Antonio, was in New York on Wednesday to meet with the Nets, who lost their first two games of the season to fall out of the playoffs.
D’Sousa is the son of former Bulls assistant D’Angelo D’Dinello, who spent five seasons in the NBA before joining the Nets.
He spent four seasons with the Spurs before being named head coach in 2014.
The Bulls are coming off a 4-0 start that includes a win in the All-Star Game.
