Thompson played just 10 minutes in his return to action last week after a season-ending concussion.
He did get back in the gym this week, though.
He’s now training with the Warriors.
Here’s the full update on Thompson’s recovery.
He also said he’ll be back in his spot as the Warriors’ starting point guard next season.
“The concussion was very serious.
I had a couple days to recover, but I was not going to get back to that level,” Thompson said in a news conference.
“So I was able to play out the rest of the game.”
He said the physical therapy is helping.
He’ll now start working on his shot.
Thompson’s return will help the Warriors improve their frontcourt depth.
The Warriors will have two starting point guards when the season is over.
They’re also set to have one point guard who will likely get a big role this season.
Thompson will be the Warriors best offensive option.
He averaged 12.6 points per game last season.
The NBA announced Wednesday that the Warriors have re-signed the guard.
