The most successful life coach in the NFL has predicted who will take home the trophy in the title of the annual Sports Illustrated NFL Power Rankings.
Life coach and former professional baseball player, Dan Le Batard, told SI that, based on his statistical analysis, the New England Patriots will win Super Bowl LI.
Le Batard told SI he believes that the Patriots will finish with more wins than any other team in the league, and he thinks they will win it with their defensive coordinator, Matt Patricia, and defensive line coach/defensive backs coach/special teams coordinator Tom Clements, who he says is a “top-tier coach.”
Le Batards prediction is based on an average of the results of his statistical analyses and based on the Patriots’ record over the past five seasons.
Le, who was hired as a coaching analyst for NFL Network in 2011, previously had a coaching career in the National Football League and spent time as a defensive line analyst for the Cleveland Browns.
Le Batards career in sports coaching began in the 1990s when he worked for the St. Louis Rams’ defensive backs coach.
He currently serves as a life coach for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Chargers, and Los Angeles Rams.
Le was hired by the Patriots in 2011 after coaching in the college ranks for six seasons at the University of Georgia.
In his four years in Athens, Le was named the ACC Coach of the Year in 1998 and 1999, and was also the Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of Time Leaders for his teams in 2002 and 2003.
